Kenan and Kel meet again at Emmys 2022
The Emmy Award gave fans a good dose of 90s nostalgia on Monday night at the Kenan & Kel convention.
During the show, host Kenan Thompson was performing a bartending skit with Kumail Nanjiani, who was the “honorary” bartender that night, before pointing him to a man waiting for a drink at the bar.
As Thompson approached the overwhelmed Kel Mitchell, whose identity was still unknown, the actor “Good Burger” jumped to surprise his former star “All That”.
“You know what … can I get a good burger?” Mitchell joked as the “SNL” alum screamed before hugging his ex-partner, saying, “Let’s make two good burgers.”
In typical Kenan and Kelly fashion, the overjoyed couple did some kung fu while the show progressed to the next prize.
Fans of the former screen duo were thrilled to see the pair back in action, nearly two decades after their last collaborative project.
“The reconciliation between Kenan and Kel makes my inner child so happy. # Emmys2022 ”one Twitter user wrotewith another addition that this moment made them “smile”.
“Oh Kenan and Kel! Can I get a good burger ?! This is what made my little 90s childhood heart so happy! ” along with Kermit the frog gif he loses his mind.

“It really warms my millennial heart to know that Kenan and Kel have been friends all these years,” said the die-hard Nickelodeon fan.
Another user was disappointed that Mitchell didn’t ask for an orange soda – a seemingly obvious drink choice for 90s kids who remember his famous sketch about Kelu loving orange soda.
“I’m still angry. They asked him to order a drink and this man said good burger… ORANGE SODIUM PLAH WAS HERE ???? ” they commented go back to the clip from the viral moment.
Mitchell and Thompson appeared in all three popular projects from the 1990s to the early years.
