King Charles holds Meghan Markle, Prince Harry’s wedding photo, in his office

A flashback to happier times.
Eagle-eyed fans noticed on Wednesday that King Charles III kept a photo of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding in his office.
In the movie Posted by Lizzie Robinson of ITV, The new monarch was meeting with UK Prime Minister Liz Truss to start their weekly meetings as the camera shifted to give fans a better view of his office.
A collection of family photos was proudly displayed in the background. In particular, one of the paintings appeared to be: official portrait royal family from Markle and Harry’s wedding in 2018.
In no time, the couple are surrounded by family and their wedding reception at Windsor Castle shortly after they said “yes” at St. George. The photo of the happy family was taken by photographer Alexi Lubomirski.
Charles also posted a photo of his late mother, Queen Elizabeth II, along with her three heirs: Charles, Prince William and Prince George.
However, much has changed for the royal family since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex tied the knot.
In January 2020, Markle and Harry announced they were withdrawing from their royal duties – only to give up their roles for good a year later.
After their shocking departure, tension was high within the royal family as the two brothers were unable to communicate.
Although Markle and Harry returned to Britain last month for Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral, they did not meet with open arms.
The couple were seemingly disregarded many times at the funeral of the late Queen, when they were “uninvited” from the events and forced to sit behind the rest of the family.
Fans believe the king has once again disregarded the couple by setting a coronation date on the same day as the fourth birthday of the son of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Archie.
Diss would not come as a surprise to many given the fact that the couple was recently demoted on the royal family’s website – it landed right next to the disgraced Prince Andrew.
