Kourtney Kardashian explains why she and Travis kiss with tongues
There is a method to Kravis’ makeup craze.
Kourtney Kardashian and husband Travis Barker are known for their special kind of PDA – not just the frequency with which they kiss, but also the way they kiss. The couple is known for touching tongues, and as it turns out, there’s a practical reason for their kissing style.
On Thursday’s new episode of “The Kardashians,” the eldest sister, 43, prepares for her Met Gala debut alongside Barker, 47.
“I don’t want to get lipstick on him, and I don’t want to mess up my lipstick, but we also don’t want to not kiss, so we’ll kiss with tongues,” Kardashian said in an interview with Confession.
“This is how we kiss; that’s why we kiss like that.”
The couple, who legally married in May in Santa Barbara and later hosted a lavish ceremony in Italy, arrived at the Met Gala 2022 in matching outfits, of course. The duo chose two deconstructed Thom Browne suits that reflected their passion for tearing apart corsets.
In a press release at the time, the designer confirmed that the Kardashian look was created “using the tailored pieces Travis Barker wears, reconstructed to show off her individuality with exposed design details.”
“I love that I was a deconstructed version of his perfectly polished look. All the elements of his look were draped over me,” Kardashian said on Instagram after the gala, which took place a few days before their wedding.
A pleated skirt, jacket and pants from the Barker suit were incorporated into her “dripping” skirt.
While the duo always keep things hot and heavy, Kourtney’s kids disagree with their mom’s makeup-saving way.
In another recent episode of the Hulu show, Penelope Disick handed the couple coupons that apparently allowed them to kiss, and Brother Reign moaned about witnessing a PDA.
“I’m dying. Hey guys,” said 7-year-old Reign.
