Kris Jenner secured a Marilyn Monroe dress for Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian could spend endless hours sweating in the gym and bleaching her hair to dress up as Marilyn Monroe for the Met Gala 2022 red carpet, but it would never have happened without her mom’s help.
On Thursday’s episode of Hulu’s “Kardashians”, fans learned how 67-year-old Jenner convinced Ripley’s Believe Ir or Not! museum to lend my daughter the one-of-a-kind “naked” dress that Monroe wore to sing “Happy Birthday, Mr. President ”to John F. Kennedy in 1962.
“They wouldn’t let me wear this dress. They wouldn’t even let me try it on – until Kris Jenner called, ‘Kardashian, 42, explained in the confessional.
“I thought,” Please, Mom, if that happens, I’ll marry you, “she added in a mocking voice. “I’d do anything.”
When asked how she affected the museum team, Jenner just laughed.
“I can’t tell you my secrets,” she said. “But if someone says no, you know what I’m saying: you’re talking to the wrong person.”
And while Ripley agreed to let Kardashian borrow the dress, she could only wear it while walking the red carpet, which meant she had to change into it on the spot and then immediately swap it for a replica before going to the party itself.
