Lena Stone is married! All the Details from the Singer’s Nashville Wedding to Michael Beckham

On Saturday, the singer-songwriter — who released her self-titled debut album in April — and Michael Beckham caught the group at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville, a special venue for the couple.

“Music is a particularly central part of my life and our chosen home of Nashville, and we’ve been going to the symphony together since the beginning of our relationship,” Stone told Individuals before the ceremony. “It’s a really meaningful place for us to get married.”

Throughout their wedding day, Stone, 29, and Beckham, 38, a film maker with Stormlight Pictures, said they wanted to “feature all the amazing things Nashville has to offer.”

So, they partnered with local vendors, including Eric Adler Clothing for the man of the hour’s custom tux, Bruce Pittman Occasions for wedding planning and Lauren Marie Atkinson Plans for the blossoms.

Ahead of the ceremony, the couple shared a first look, where they said they plan to exchange “personal vows” in private.

“I can’t wait for our most memorable look when she sees me in my dress for the first time,” said Stone, who accessorized her dress with her late grandmother’s earrings as her “something old. “
At the ceremony, one of the couple’s “dearest companions,” Phil Barnes — who also works with Stone — married them.

“He was deeply intelligent and articulate,” Stone said. “We realized that he would work effectively and make our ceremony personal to us.” After the ceremony came the reception, where guests indulged in a sans gluten red velvet wedding cake with Swiss meringue buttercream from local bakery Foamy Monkey while Stone and Beckham had their most memorable dance as a couple .

“We took some dance lessons together to get ready, and that was one of my favorite parts of the whole wedding planning process,” says Stone. As she prepares for the wedding, Stone also recorded a “special new version” of her song “Love of My Life (Wedding Version)” which she included on the exclusive version of her presentation album that dropped in August.

The romantic story of Stone and Beckham began almost nine years ago, when they met through opposite companions in the round of an essayist in the third bar and Lindsley. After a year of being friends “with secret crushes on each other,” they decided to make things official.

As for how Stone realized Beckham was the one, he said it was “the point where he started spending time with my family and I saw how well he fit in with everyone and how much they valued him as well.” Meanwhile, Beckham realized Stone was the one before they even started dating because of “all the time we spent getting to know each other” as roommates first.

“We’d go out for drinks, and I remember how time seemed to stop when we were together,” she says. “He made me happy then, and he really made me happy at this point.”
After Beckham asked about tying the knot with an engagement ring from Consider the Wldflwrs in late spring 2021, the two wanted to wait to tie the knot until they both finished school.

Stone attributes their strong relationship to “great communication.”

“We make a real effort to check in with each other,” he said.

“And we love date night, regardless of whether it’s just a drink at a roadside bar and a chance for us to talk and connect.”

As she shifts focus to her future with Beckham, Stone says she’s pumped for all the “milestones that are coming up right away.”

“I can’t wait for all the big minutes — buying a house and getting a dog and becoming parents one day — but in addition to the little everyday minutes in between,” she said.
