Lindsay Lohan surprise guests at Mark Ronson, Florida
The name Lindsay Lohan still draws her to the most exclusive parties – even if she’s not on the list.
On Friday, Lohan (sort of) smashed the grand opening of the Ian Schrager Edition Hotel in Tampa, Florida.
We hear someone called to make a reservation at the nightclub, and when the concierge explained that “it was closed for a private party, the guest said,” I’m bringing Lindsay Lohan, “the source told us. We were told the hotel didn’t need to consider letting in Lohan.
At the party, Lohan, 36, was discreet and “very relaxed,” hanging with her buddies at the Arts Club corner while top pop producer Mark Ronson (her ex-Samantha Ronson’s brother) played.
None of our spies caught the duo interaction.
Another informant told us that Lohan was there because she was attending a wedding at Sunshine State.
In the meantime, the hotel’s grand opening weekend has become a great musical event. Slick Rick surprised 47-year-old Ronson on stage and the partygoers described the pair as “legendary”. Q-Tip and D-Nice also provided unforgettable moments as they put together the melodies together.
But it was rocker Lenny Kravitz that blew the roof up over the weekend. He played a private VIP performance at the Amalie Arena to celebrate the launch of the 15th Edition location.
Chef John Fraser invited guests including model Joan Smalls, Broadway “Take Me Out” star Jesse Williams and Ashlee Simpson and husband Evan Ross to a pre-concert party, after which DJ Ruckus and Tokyo Rose played melodies to open to Kravitz.
“It’s a blessing to be here on this beautiful night to perform and celebrate the opening of Tampa with my friends,” said Kravitz.
During the summer, Lohan married Kuwait-born financier Bader Shammas, and the couple were spotted visiting New York in July.
