Lizzo has a special message for his haters.
When the “2 Be Loved” singer accepted the Video for Good award for her song “About Damn Time” at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards on Aug. 28, she took time to address the people who have been negative about her lately.
“Now to those bitches who have something to say about me in the press,” she said, holding up her moon persona. “You know what? I’m not going to say anything. They say, ‘Lizzo, why don’t you clap back?’ Why don’t you clap back?” Because bitch, I win, ho! THIS BITCH WINS, HO!”
Lizzo’s comments in her acceptance speech came after fans defended the singer on social media last weekend after the comedian Aries Spears made negative comments about her appearance.
One user wrote on Twitter: “Lizzo doesn’t bother anyone but people keep coming at her about her weight. I’m sure she never thought about Iris Spears, but he talks about her weight. It’s weird”.
