‘Love Is Blind’ SK star denounces ‘untrue’ allegations of cheating
‘Love Is Blind’ star Sikiru ‘SK’ Alagbada ‘is taking legal action’ against women who accused him of cheating on Raven Ross, whom he met on the Netflix dating show.
“Dear LIB Family, Raven and I left the aisle of Love is Blind as single people who have gone back to dating other people,” the 34-year-old reality TV star began on Instagram on Thursday, explaining his and Ross’s dating schedule.
He added: “While our journey together was not straightforward, the unique emotional bond we developed during this experiment kept us together as friends and helped rekindle our relationship after the fact.”
“These allegations have been falsely presented with bad intentions and we are actively taking legal action against some of the accusers involved,” Alagbada continued in his post.
The Netflix star concluded: “I am so sorry for the pain Raven, my family and everyone involved has caused. Raven and I will continue to support each other and wish only love. Happy Thanksgiving.”
The first allegations of cheating against Alagbad came from a TikTok user named @emmwho9 in a video that has since been removed, according to Buzzfeed.
“Put your finger on if you went on a date in April with a guy from Hinge and then saw that he was actually on the show Love Is Blind and that he met you after filming the show but he’s still the same girl now,” the woman claimed .
The second woman, whose username is @hannahbethstyle on TikTok, then claimed to have dated Alagbada in 2019 and reconnected with him once while filming his dating show which ended in 2021.
“I asked to see his phone to send pictures of him but ended up texting from a contact named ‘fiancé’,” she wrote in a video posted on social media. She also claimed that they went on various European holidays together.
“I waited until lunch to confront him because I was trying to process what I saw,” the woman continued. “He told me it was for a LIB show, but it was only for $ and they were just friends.”
Earlier this week, Alagbada, 29, and Ross announced in a joint statement that they had separated.
“We regret to announce that we have decided to go our separate ways,” the former couple said.
“Due to ongoing legal proceedings regarding these allegations, we are unable to provide additional details and ask that you respect our privacy during this difficult time.”
Alagbada and Ross met in Season 3 of Love Is Blind, where they got engaged in the pods – unseen – and quickly became a fan favorite couple.
Despite Alagbada saying no to his then-fiancée at the altar on their wedding day, the duo made the unexpected discovery during a special reunion that they were still dating.
The fraud allegations surfaced just days after the last episode aired.
