Love Is Blind stars Danielle Ruhl and Nick Thompson make their breakup

Danielle Ruhl and Nick Thompson are “moving on” after calling him quit last month.

The stars of “Love Is Blind” entered their social media pages on Wednesday to give an insight into their “swirling” experience and its pitiful ending.

“It took some time to talk publicly about the end of my marriage because the emotions are still harsh,” wrote Ruhl, 29. on Instagram Wednesday. “However, I will always appreciate those who have followed my journey and continue to support me throughout this experience.”

Although the couple’s marriage did not work out, Ruhl reflected on the “amazing friends” and the new perspective she had gained since appearing on the show.

“I’ve also learned to love myself and put first and foremost to surround myself with those who love me for who I am,” she said, adding that “the future is bright” and that her “next chapter will be the best we’ve ever had.”

Thompson, 36, also spoke about the couple’s break-up, saying that while fans watched their love story on TV, people had “little insight into the reality of our daily life experiences.”

“The last few weeks have been particularly difficult for me,” he confessed on Instagram just two hours before his wife’s mail. “Like many of us going through a loss or life-changing event, we experience cycles of regret as we navigate our emotions.”

He continued: “Everyone sees and experiences the sadness differently when a relationship ends, let alone the loss of a marriage in the eyes of the public. I am working on my own mental and emotional challenges to overcome feelings of anxiety and depression. “

Thompson went on to say that he leaned toward those “loyal” to him in order to block out people who “disappointed or disagreed” with his “truth or well-being.”

“Most importantly, I have learned that nothing is right and that being true to yourself is necessary to find a way forward.”

He ended by stating that he is “grateful” for the experience, but is still trying to heal his wounds.

“I’m broken, my marriage is over. I know deep down in my heart that I did everything I could and gave my best. “

Ruhl has filed for divorce with Thompson on August 15 after more than a year of marriage.

Many fans of the hit reality show were shocked to hear that the couple split up after Ruhl revealed the ex-couple’s plans to renew their vows a month earlier.
