Love Island U.K. Host Announces She’s Exiting the Series

Love Island Great Britain didn’t answer anymore Laura Whitmore.

Laura, who took over as host of reality show Buzzy Dating in January 2020, announced her departure from the show in Instagram post from August 22.

“I will not host the next series Island of loveshe wrote. “There are certain elements of the show that I find very difficult that cannot be changed because of the format, including flying back and forth to South Africa along with my new controversial projects.”

In total, Laura spent three seasons of the show.

“I wish it was still possible, but I know you’ll be in good hands,” Whitmore continued. “I only planned to replace Caroline in the series, but it turned into 3 series. I hope I’ve made you proud, Caroline.’

Laura took over hosting duties from a close friend Caroline Flackwho committed suicide in February 2020.
