Mark Ruffalo Throws Shade at Star Wars While Discussing Marvel

The Hulk star has come out in defense of multiple Marvel projects that have been mocked by directors Martin Scorsese and Francis Ford Coppola, told Metro UK that he’s not concerned that the number of Marvel shows and movies affects the quality. As he said, “I don’t care about that.”

“I understand that these things happen in their own way, and then something else comes along,” Ruffalo, who will appear in the upcoming Disney+ series She’s the Hulk, explained. “But what Marvel has done well is that within the MCU, as with the comics, they allow the director or the actor to kind of recreate each piece in their own style, in their own likeness. Marvel usually lets them bring that to the material.”

By comparison, Ruffalo said, “If you watch a star Wars [project]you will almost get the same version star Wars every time.” Okurrr!
