Martha Stewart says Pete Davidson is like the son she never had
Martha Stewart refutes a rather silly rumor that she and Pete Davidson may have sparked an affair following his breakup with Kim Kardashian.
“Pete Davidson is like the son I never had”, Stewart, 81, went to The Daily Mail when asked if she could be his next mistress.
“He’s a charming boy who finds his way. I invited him to my podcast and I can’t wait to hear what he has to say.
The internet rumors started after a photo of Stewart sweetly holding Davidson by the hand as she posed for a photo with him and Kardashian 41, at a White House correspondent dinner in April, became popular after Pete and Kim split up.
“We should have foreseen it” one Twitter user wrote who shared the disputed snap.
Stewart previously shared her support for the couple, saying E! News in May, the star of “Saturday Night Live” and founder Skims were “cute together” despite being an “unlikely combination”.
“They seem to have a nice feeling for each other, which is so nice,” she added at the time.
An insider acknowledged Davidson and Kardashian’s break with Page Six, saying the couple fully intend to remain friends.
“They have a lot of love and respect for each other, but have found distance and their busy schedules make it really difficult to maintain a relationship,” the source said.
Days later ex-Kardashian Kanye West mocked Davidson on a defrauded New York Times front page on Instagram who declared, “SKETE DAVIDSON DIE AT 28 YEARS OLD”.
The move reportedly left Kim “alive”, leading West to resign.
