Meghan King, Mike Johnson “only friends” despite “chemistry”
He doesn’t accept his rose yet.
Real Housewives of Orange County graduate Meghan King and Bachelor Nation star Mike Johnson are “just friends” despite having had “undeniable chemistry” recently in Las Vegas, according to a source on page Six.
“They had a good time together and are glad that they know each other now,” says the source. “But as far as the relationship is concerned, it’s platonic.”
The two stars were founded by the producers of the King’s iHeartRadio podcast “Intimate Knowledge with Meghan King,” which delves deeply into topics related to relationships and sex.
Fans will finally learn more about King and Johnson’s exciting Sin City tour that included a visit to a strip club.
Their meeting took place during the celebration of the iHeartRadio 2022 Music Festival. Before their concerts this weekend, King (37) and Johnson (34) were spending time at a podcast event at the Green Valley Ranch Resort & Casino on Thursday.
Later that evening, King and Johnson went to Crazy Horse 3. There, a blonde beauty and a handsome Air Force veteran were spotted on a PDA.
As seen in video material obtained by TMZKing sat on Johnson’s lap as the two enjoyed a personal performance by the exotic dancer. At one point they were holding hands and according to E! Newseven kissed.
King later raved about Johnson in sweet post on Instagram. “Look who I found at the @iheartradio festival in Vegas! @mike_johnson is my new favorite! ” she wrote a picture of a couple posing close to each other.
No matter how we say goodbye, our source assures us, “They’re buddies and mates.”
Even so, King and Johnson hugged the photographers during an iHeartRadio show on Friday night.
Before embracing the red carpet, the duo mingled with many reality TV personalities including Real Housewives of Atlanta star Drew Sidora, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alumnus Teddy Mellencamp and former Bachelor leader Bob Guiney.
King’s flirting with Johnson came days after she dismissed two protective orders against her ex-husband Jim Edmonds.
King – who finalized her divorce from 52-year-old Edmonds in May 2021 – originally filed a temporary restraining order in June, claiming that the former MLB player displayed “frequent and consistent verbal abuses” against her.
Edmonds vehemently denied these claims. Moreover, retired athlete representative Steve Honig told TMZ in part that the report was “completely unfounded.”
In addition to the restraining order, King requested a Child Protection Order against Edmonds, which was not granted. Both orders were withdrawn by her attorney this week.
Throughout this time, King has relied on her closest circle – including publicist Anthony Lario and her model brother RJ King – for support. Both men joined her on a recent business trip to New York to promote “Knowledge Intimate.”
“I love working and being in the city,” Meghan told Page Six earlier. “It’s always best to put your nose against the grindstone.”
A mum of three – who shares with Edmonds daughter Aspen, 5 and 4-year-old twins Hart and Hayes – added: “And I want to be the best example of a working single mother for my children.”
After Meghan divorced Edmonds, she married President Joe Biden’s nephew Cuffe Biden Owens in October 2021. However, they separated two months later.
For his part, Johnson battled for the heart of Hannah Brown in season 15 of The Bachelorette in 2019, before finding love on the beaches of season 6 of Bachelor in Paradise. That same year, he was briefly associated with pop superstar Demi Lovato.
No matter what happens to Johnson, Meghan recently said “Show in the Tamron Room” that he plans to keep future relationships private.
“I’m done posting on social media. I don’t want to be defined by them – she said. “You google my name and you see all these reports, I’m done with it. I think people intimidate my life most of the time I date.
