Meghan Markle reveals why she actually turned down the deal or no deal

Meghan Markle glad her briefcase days are behind her.

During her episode on October 18 Archetypes podcastwhere she discussed the “bimbo” stereotype with a guest. Paris Hiltonthe Duchess of Sussex mentioned her work as a model Deal or not.

Appearing on the game show’s second season in 2006, when she was pursuing her acting career, Meghan, 41, said she recalled a time she did a college internship at the US Embassy in Argentina, where she said she “was specially valued for my brain.” However, at Deal or notthe royal said she felt she was being “appreciated for something completely opposite”.

Meghan said models will line up before the show for various stations, including bra liners, false eyelashes and hair extensions. The women were also given weekly tanning vouchers.

“There was a very clever idea about how exactly we should look,” she recalled. “It was only about beauty – and not necessarily about intelligence.”
