Melinda Gates dating Jon Du Pre after divorcing Bill: report

Melinda French Gates begins her first love affair since her high-profile divorce from ex-husband Bill Gates.

The philanthropist has been dating Jon Du Pre, a former Fox News correspondent for several months, and now works as a communications specialist. TMZ reported.

It’s unclear how long the couple have been seeing each other, but Du Pre and French Gates, 58, were photographed together at a Nets-Celtics game back in April.

The newspaper also reported that the couple, in addition to some of their family members, stayed at Pelican Hill, a five-star hotel in Newport Beach, California.

The 63-year-old author of “The Prodigal Father” shares three children with his ex-wife, Gina: sons Kasey and Jonna, who graduated from BYU, and daughter Jessie, who graduated from the University of Utah.

French Gates did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

French Gates and co-founder of Microsoft finalized the divorce in August 2021 after 27 years of marriage just three months later announcing their split.

“After much thought and a lot of work on our relationship, we made a decision to end our marriage,” they said in a joint statement.

The former couple started the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation when they were together and turned it into one of the largest charities in the world; however, French Gates later admitted that her ex’s relationship with the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein played a role in her decision to leave Gates.

“He was disgusting. He was the embodiment of evil. It breaks my heart because of these women.
