Micheal Ward is a British actor who was born in Jamaica. The actor received name and recognition when he was cast in the role of Jamie on the Channel 4/Netflix TV series Top Boy. He is also famous for his acting skills in the British film Blue Story and television series like The A-List and Top Boy. After playing the lead role in Top Boy, he was profiled in The Hollywood Reporter. In an interview, he revealed that he requested a chance to audition for Top Boys star Ashley Walters. In 2020 Micheal was awarded the BAFTA Rising Star for his great acting.

Micheal was born November 18, 1997, in Spanish Town, Jamaica. When he turned four his family moved to Hackney, London. After spending few years there, they again shift to Romford. He attended Chadwell health academy. He took participate in school plays and he decided to put the effort into acting when he played the role of Macduff in William Shakespeare’s tragedy “Macbeth”.
Micheal completed his Bachelor’s in performing arts from Epping Forest College in Loughton, England.

Micheal started his career during his days of college, he was spotted by a teacher then after with Micheal signed with a talent management agency. From the agency, Micheal got few music videos to perform.
At the age of seventeen, he won a modeling contest and got a break to model sportswear for JD sports that is an E-commerce Site. He models for many famous brands in 2018, he modeled at SOS symposium conference materials. he also modeled for Louis Vuitton’s AW20 menswear campaign, In August 2020.
He debuts in films as a support artist in the British drama film brotherhood in 2016.
Micheal got his career breakthrough role in the year 2019 when he was cast as the lead role in the British crime drama film “blue Story” in the role named Macro. In the next year, in the American film ‘The Old Guard”(2020).
