“I always dreamed of getting to the Cannes Film Festival” – Pontyjska – she said on Instagram on Wednesday. “But then I was shocked [the] the rudeness and unjustified use of physical force that I experienced on the red carpet with other international stars.”

The same employee, who was not named, has already made headlines for pushing Kelly Rowland and Massiel Taveras off the red carpet, as well as clashing with K-pop star Yoona.

When the same thing happened to Rowland earlier this month, the former Destiny’s Child member made headlines for scolding an usher before the “Marcello Mio” premiere.

The 43-year-old singer broke down in tears recalling the interaction and told AP News: “This woman knows what happened. I know what happened. I have a boundary and I stick to it.”

Massiel Taveras also had an argument with an employee. X

“There were other women on that carpet who didn’t exactly look like me and weren’t scolded or pushed or told to get off,” she added.

Dominican actress Massiel Taveras had a similar experience with the same woman and was caught pushing her on camera.

Although there is no official statement from the festival about the recurring controversy, the unidentified employee is defended by one of her colleagues via Daily Mail.

“She was an usher working under a lot of pressure to keep people on the carpet moving to prevent crowds from gathering,” an anonymous co-worker said.

“There was no pushing, shoving or scolding. The priorities are safety and security, as well as adhering to the strict schedules set out in their contracts – even stars have to follow the rules.”
