My family “kept me alive” after the shooting on “Rust”
Alec Baldwin thanked his family for keeping him alive for the last year after the fall random shooting on the set of “Rust” in October 2021.
The 64-year-old graduate of “30 Rock” – who last week welcomed his seventh child with Hilaria Baldwin – referred to the tragedy in Instagram post on Monday.
“My heart has been broken a thousand times in the last year. And things in my life may never be the same again, ”wrote Alec in the carousel’s caption.
“A lot of changes are coming. But my family kept me alive. They are the reason for my life. And @hilariabaldwin – he continued, apparently referring to news that he may be indicted in a shootout.
Alec’s post featured several photos of his growing offspring of children, including Carmen (9 years old), Rafael (7 years old), Leonardo (5 years old), Romeo (4 years old), Eduardo (2 years old), and Lucia (1 years old).
“These children. They were all born in 212 AD. Same hospital. The first four in the same room. The last three in the same but different room,” he added.
The actor also shared his wife’s post, announcing the joyful news that their daughter Ilaria Catalina Irena had joined the “Baldwinito” clan.
“She is here! We are so excited that we can present you our little dream come true … She and I are both happy and healthy. Her siblings Baldwinito spend the day joining her and welcoming her to our home” – wrote 38-year-old Hilaria .
“Lots of love to all of you. We look forward to celebrating this wonderful news with you.”
Although Ilaria’s birth makes Hilaria the mother of seven, Alec is now the father of eight as she shares her 26-year-old daughter Ireland Baldwin with ex-wife Kim Basinger.
Hilaria previously reflected on her family’s “difficult year”, writing in November 2021 Instagram post“Sometimes I didn’t think I could do it.”
She continued, “I want you to know how much you helped me in some rather dark struggles. Knowing you were there – such a consolation.
Her husband was defendant for negligence in November 2021 by crew members for the western “Rust” after cameraman Halyna Hutchins was killed with a loaded prop.
The family of the cinematographer filed a lawsuit for wrongful death against Alec two months later.
Most recently, First Judicial District Attorney Mary Carmack-Altwies said she could indict up to four people in connection with the shooting, including Alec, on CBS.
