Nicholas Brendon, a star of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”, was transported to the hospital after a terrifying heart crisis.

Actor Nicholas Brendon, who played Xander on the television series “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”, has been hospitalized for two weeks.

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNI: Nicholas Brendon, 51, who played Xander in 145 episodes of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” appeared in all but one before being rushed to hospital after a serious “heart crisis.” He was admitted after the health crisis two weeks ago.

His sister posted photos of him from the hospital on social media, including one of him being carried on a stretcher. In a subsequent photo, Nicholas, who also portrayed Kevin Lynch on “Criminal Minds,” was connected to numerous monitoring tools.

Nicky’s sister told his Instagram followers, “Nicky sends his love and wants me to apologize for not going live so much lately and giving everyone an update.” Nicky is doing well now, but two weeks ago he had to go to the emergency room because of a heart attack (tachycardia/arrhythmia). Some of you may recall that he experienced a similar incident last year during his second spine surgery (for Cauda Equina). He focused on his doctor’s appointments and tried to get a little more rest this time, she continued.

Fans expressed their surprise and well wishes for Nicholas in the comments section, sending him “healing wishes” and informing him that they “pray[ing]for him. ‘Nicky, get well soon! One replied, ‘I pray for you,’ and another added, ‘Sending healing wishes,’ both of which were accompanied by a love emoji.

The tweet was closed by Nicholas’s sister with a series of hashtags, including one for the spinal condition Cauda Equina. The unusual stenosis severely compresses nerves in the lower back, causing numbness to spread throughout the lower body. Nicholas has already spoken of the discomfort of his illness, which has affected his genitals, back and legs. Last year he had to stop marketing his movie ‘Wanton Want’ to recover and cope with the disease. Since 1997, Nicholas has played the role of Xander in every episode of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”, except for one. He continued to appear in “Criminal Minds” until 2007, and he also developed a number of his own films, five of which are now in development.
