Nicki Minaj’s ‘Pink Friday 2’ UK performance delayed after police detained her in Amsterdam
Nicki Minaj’s “Pink Friday 2” tour scheduled for Saturday night in Manchester, UK, was delayed after Nicki Minaj stopped her in Amsterdam this morning.
The Co-op Live arena, where he is scheduled to perform, informed fans on X just before 12:30 ET, writing“Please note that general admission and premium doors for tonight’s @NickiMinaj performance will now open at [7:00]”

The delay announcement came hours after the 41-year-old “Barbie World” hitmaker livestreamed herself as Amsterdam police told her she was under arrest for allegedly “carrying drugs.”
During the Instagram live broadcast, which was recorded and posted online by a fan account, an officer could be seen telling Minaj that she needed to stop recording and enter the police vehicle.
However, she refused and demanded to speak to her lawyer. Ultimately, the video showed him calmly entering the vehicle.
IN separate video on Instagramthe official told Minaj that all of her luggage should be searched because she was believed to have more drugs after she confirmed to X that she had pot on her.
“now they said they found weed and that another group of people had to come here to weigh the rolls. Remember, they took my bags without my consent.” She wrote Saturday morning.
“My security has already informed them that these pre-rolls belong to him. Oh yeah, and the pilot wants me to delete my IG post.
She gave to the fans its last update at 10:51 a.m. EST, writing, “Now they say I have to drive 5 minutes away to make a statement at the police station regarding my safety.”
It is unclear whether she has been detained by police or is on her way to the UK.
Representatives for the rapper and Coop Live did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Social media posts show that fans who had already lined up outside the arena were already there chanting “Free Nicki!”

According to the Dutch government websitethe law states that a person will not be prosecuted for marijuana if they possess “not more than 5 grams.”
Minaj’s “Pink Friday 2” world tour kicked off in March in California.
