Addo-Carr played his first game for the Melbourne Storm against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs at the Belmore Sports Ground in round 1 of the season. In Round 3, when Melbourne played the Brisbane Broncos at AAMI Park, Addo-Carr scored his first try for the club in the final minutes to help win the game 14–12.
