Olivia Wilde tells where she got her recipe for salad dressing
[ad_1]
Olivia Wilde is quite “Booksmart”.
The director of “Don’t Worry Darling” shared the recipe for her infamous “special salad dressing” that her ex-nanny said was the cause of the epic battle with ex-Jason Sudeikis.
Sharing a photo from Nora Ephron’s book, Heartburn, the recipe read: “Mix 2 tablespoons of Gray Poupon with 2 tablespoons of good red wine vinegar.
“Then beat constantly with a fork, slowly adding 6 tablespoons of olive oil until the vinaigrette is thick and creamy; this produces a very strong vinaigrette, perfect for salads such as arugula, watercress and endive. ‘
The recipe is almost the same Wilde, 38, shared with the Food Network most recently – and allegedly drove the star of “Ted Lasso” to throw himself in front of Wilde’s car.
In the same excerpt shared in her Instagram Story, Wilde mentioned that she was trying to get away from her relationship – and the drama that followed – with Sudeikis.
“Because if I tell this story, I can make you laugh and I’d rather you laugh at me than feel sorry for me. Because if I tell this story, it doesn’t hurt that much. Because if I tell a story, I can do it.
“Heartburn” is based on Ephron’s marriage and divorce from Carl Bernstein, her second husband after an affair with Margaret Jay, daughter of former British Prime Minister James Callaghan.
Post Wilde came right after her ex-nanny spoke to the Daily Mail about the break-up of her relationship with Sudeikis. According to the ex-couple’s nanny, Sudeikis became irritated when the director tried to leave their California home to visit Harry Styles’ boyfriend now with a salad and its “special sauce”.
“The night she came out with the salad, Jason chased her by filming it at home,” a woman who chose to remain anonymous reported to the Daily Mail in a story published on Monday. “She said,” I’m afraid of you, Jason, I’m afraid of you. ” And he said, “If you’re afraid of me, why do you leave your children with me?”
“So Jason went outside and lay down under her car to keep her from leaving. She got in the car to back up and he was lying under her car to keep her from leaving.
According to the nanny, the act of desperation from the “Terrible Bosses” star was enough to force Wilde back to their home.
“He said he was doing it on purpose to be late with Harry,” said Nanny. “Jason told me,” She made this salad and she made her special dressing and goes out with the salad for dinner with [Harry]”.
As claimed by the nanny, she and the Emmy Award-winner vehemently denied her “false and insulting accusations.”
“As parents, it is incredibly depressing to learn that a former nanny to our two young children would decide to make such false and slanderous accusations publicly against us,” the former couple have a son, Otis, 8, and daughter, Daisy, 6. said Page Six on Monday.
“Her 18-month-long campaign to harass us, loved ones, friends and colleagues has reached its unfortunate climax. We will continue to focus on the upbringing and protection of our children with the sincere hope that now he will decide to leave our family alone. ”
