The boy band star responded to a fan on Twitter with a rare comment about a former member Zayn Malik. When asked the fan what it was like to see Zayn sing One direction songs, Louis replied“It was great to see him reminisce about his One Direction days.”
Zayn, who infamously left One Direction in 2015,published a 30-second clip on Instagram on Aug. 15 as he sings a verse of the band’s hit “Night Changes.”
Fans gushed over the video, writing: “NIGHT SHIFT!??YOUR VOICE!??? YOU!????” Another user commented: “Zayn singing 1d songs in 2022 is literally the best thing to happen.”
When Zayn left One Direction, he shared in 2015 interview with The FADER that the group’s music is not to his taste. Zayn added: “Even though I was in that band and I loved everything we did, it’s not the music I would listen to.”
