Parents must sign an NDA for Kanye West’s Donda Academy
Registration at the Donda Academy looks a bit different.
Two families whose children attend Donda Academy with less than 100 students submitted to Rolling Stone that parents must sign confidentiality agreements for Kanye West’s secret school.
However, Tamar Andrews, a school consultant, tried to refute the families’ claims, saying that each student’s parents only need to sign an “informal contract” – but did not specify what the “contract” was.
“Honestly, we don’t care if people know about the school,” Andrews said.
“People who want to come to school are looking for a good Christian school in this area and they know we are there… There is also some notoriety about belonging to Donda. So I don’t know if we have to advertise, which is a blessing and a curse. “
West’s longtime friend and colleague Malik Yusef shared the idea, saying the school offers students things that other institutions lack.
“People choose to bring their kids to Donda Academy to have a sense of privacy,” he said. “A sense of caring, a sense of caring, a sense of love, a health environment and an environment of wealth, a learning environment and a focus on God.”
“The Donda school trial is for the parishioners, for the participants,” he added. “I don’t think Kanye needs to tell the world what he is doing in order to be in more control.”
A tuition-based school reportedly costs $ 15,000 a year, but nearly half of the children have been awarded financial aid or scholarships. Yusef said the other half of the students are the children of West’s associates and other celebrities who can afford the high price.
To add to the secrecy of the school, Andrews confirmed that the Christian academy is still in the process of being accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
This may be one of the reasons West’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian doesn’t want their own kids to go to school.
Earlier this month, the rapper asked Kardashian if their four children – North (9), Saint (6), Chicago (4) and Psalm (3) – could split their education between the Los Angeles School and Donda Academy at Simi Valley, California.
While Kardashian’s reaction to this suggestion was never shared, Ye suggested her reluctance. However, after the Instagram craze, he told his followers that they both had a “good get-together” about their children’s education.
Despite the atmosphere of secrecy and secrecy surrounding the school, West previously shared photos of Donda Academy students on his Instagram wearing all-black uniforms from Yeezy’s collaboration with Gap.
