Paris Hilton raises concerns about child car seat safety
This isn’t hot.
Paris Hilton fans express concern about her children’s car seat settings after… TikTok video shows off her ‘new #SlivingMom van’ Monday.
In the video, 1-year-old Phoenix and 6-month-old London were dressed adorably for Mother’s Day brunch.
Hilton’s supporters, however, focused less on toddler clothes and more on forward-facing car seats and the use of latch and strap.
“Please hire someone to install car seats,” one social media user commented, while another offered to “come to help [her] using seat belts” to keep “children as safe as possible.”
A third wrote: “Please check [sic] The car seat manual displays whether the latch and seat belt can be used at the same time. Usually difficult. In addition, a rear-facing driving license is usually valid until the age of 2.”
Others, however, defended Hilton’s setup and pointed out that Phoenix and London “were not strapped into a typical car” and “everything was fine.”
Another called the reality star’s execution “perfect,” while some speculated that the new mom was simply pranking her followers.
A representative for Hilton did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
The 43-year-old “Stars Are Blind” singer welcomed her baby boy via surrogate in January 2023 after keeping her pregnancy a secret from the public and her immediate family.
“I didn’t want my son to come into this world with any negative energy,” she added he explained to Romper in December. “I’m really happy I did it this way…without the outside world interfering.”
Hilton did the same when his daughter London was born in November.
The DJ waited four months to show his daughter’s face on Instagram, finally revealing London’s features in April family photos.
Hilton previously responded harshly to the parenting police in December 2023, when her diaper-changing confession in “Paris in Love” went viral.
“I joked about changing a diaper for the first time, which, let’s be honest, was just good fun,” she wrote on Twitter. “In all seriousness, when it comes to being a mom, I am fully committed and loving every moment.”
