Prince William and Kate Middleton take their eldest children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, to the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II on Monday. BBC.
9-year-old Prince George and 7-year-old Princess Charlotte will go in procession with the royal family behind the coffin that will enter the church at the state funeral at Westminster Abbey.
William and Kate are to go in front of their two children, followed by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
As for Prince Louis – who is known to draw attention with his wild antics – we were told that the 4-year-old did not participate due to his young age.
Royal children will be among 500 foreign dignitaries, including President Biden and First Lady Jill Bidento pay tribute to the deceased monarchy.
The 40-year-old Princess of Wales had previously told mourners that their three children were “doing well” after losing their great-grandmother.
“She said she’s keeping the kids as normal as possible,” one fan said about what Middleton reportedly told her outside of Sandringham last week.
“She says the kids settled in well at the new school and Kate was grateful for your support. I was joking that I had to be quick because I had to go to school and she said she was going back to London as well.
Until now, children have been particularly absent from public tours leading to the Queen’s funeral.
As previously reported, Middleton stayed home to be with her three children when her 40-year-old husband joined other immediate family members at Balmoral Castle just hours before Buckingham Palace announced that Queen Elizabeth had died at the age of 96 on September 8.
