The first three episodes of Selena + Chef Season 4 will premiere on HBO Max on August 18 at 3:30 AM ET. Selena Gomez is featured in the series learning how to cook summer dishes from celebrity chefs through video calls at a Malibu beach house.
Ten chefs will appear on the show in the fourth season. Priya Krishna, a New York Times bestselling author, will also be on the program to instruct Selena on how to prepare dahi toast with coriander chutney.
Who is Priya Krishna, the guest chef of Selena + Chef Season 4?
Cookbook author Priya Krishna was born in Dallas, Texas. She works as a staff reporter for Times Food and in 2019 and 2021 her articles were featured in “The Best American Food Writing.”
Priya attended Greenhill School until she graduated. She graduated from Dartmouth College with a bachelor’s degree in international relations and business. She obtained her French degree at the same university.
In 2013, Priya worked for Murphy’s on the Green as a prep cook. She also worked for Lucky Peach for three years as a marketing manager. She has worked for The New Yorker, Eater and TASTE and is also a very well known YouTube personality.
Her books Indian-ish and Cooking at Home: Or, How I Learned to Stop Worrying About Recipes have become New York Times bestsellers (And Love My Microwave). In addition to working for Bon Appétit’s cooking YouTube channel in 2018, Krishna left the company in 2020 due to discriminatory wages.

The fourth season of Selena + Chef follows Selena Gomez as she spends the summer at a Malibu beach house with her family and friends, trying to learn new cooking techniques from chefs online. The fourth season of Hannah Montana was filmed in the same beach house where Miley Cyrus filmed the first three seasons.
Gordon Ramsay, the show’s first in-house guest chef, is set to make an appearance this season. In addition to Gordon Ramsay and Priya Krishna, Adrienne Cheatha, DeVonn Francis, Kristen Kish, Ludo Lefebvre, Matty Matheson, Nick DiGiovanni, Paola Velez and Rachael Ray will appear in the show over the internet. To keep the cooking process “light, bright and entertaining”, cooks will advise the actress to step outside her culinary comfort zone and prepare unusual dishes.
The first three episodes of Selena + Chef will air on HBO Max on Thursday, August 18. The next three episodes of the program will be made available on HBO Max on August 25, and the final four will follow on September 1. :01 ET, all episodes will be made accessible on the streaming website.
