Rachel Bilson addresses rumors of an affair with Chas Crawford

Rachel Bilson sets the record straight on past relationship rumors between her and Chase Crawford.

On the episode of her August 29 Broad ideas podcast, Scandalmonger the actor recalled parties in the 2000s, and OC star explained how what they were seen together turned into rumors that they were dating.

“Someone saw us talking and the press was like, ‘Oh, Rachel and Chase hook up?'” Bilson told Crawford. “My publicist came to me and since I was in a serious relationship at the time, I told her she had to stop the story.”

However, Hart of Dixie The star’s publicist released a statement that made her feel a little bad for her longtime friend. Bilson said: “They printed it, but it had a quote from my publicist saying it was completely fabricated, and I said, ‘Wait, that’s so mean. I would never want to do that to Chase!”
