Ramona Singer hopes the new cast of “RHONY” won’t try to copy it


Ramona Singer seems to be coping well with her departure from New York Real Housewives.

The seasoned reality show star – who, along with several other cast members, has been replaced by a younger group of women – says she doesn’t even recognize any of the new stars. But he hopes they’re not copying her. But if they want to, they will have to pay her to teach them how to be an “icon” like her.

“I have no idea about the new cast. I don’t even know who they are yet, “said Page Six,” I love Bravo. I just hope they’re as good as Luann [de Lesseps] Sonja [Morgan] and I was, you know, as good as the original cast.

Bravo announced in March that it plans to remake the show and add a second show, “Legacy”, featuring fan favorites from previous seasons. The cast for season 14 was unveiled at BravoCon 2022 in October.

When asked if new ladies should watch RHONY reruns looking for indicators, Singer says it’s “the worst thing to do”.

“It would be the worst thing in the world. People will know you are faking it. On reality TV, if you watch our movements, just be yourself. So I don’t give them advice. I don’t even know them.

But Singer, 65, is ready to offer her services as a “consultant” if they have to rely on her for ideas.

“If they want, they can hire me as a consultant. Hire me as a consultant and then I’ll show you exactly what to do so that you can be an icon like me. ”

The singer was the longest-serving cast member, appearing in 13 seasons from 2008 to 2021 with friends and enemies such as Dorinda Medley, Leah McSweeney, Eboni K. Williams and Bethenny Frankel.

As for making cameos. “I don’t know about making cameos. I have a great life and I am enjoying it. But one right piece of advice I would give is to be yourself. “
