“RHONJ” star Dolores Catania will “shake” the theft of a Porsche
Dolores Catania felt shocked after her Porsche was stolen straight from her boyfriend’s driveway early Saturday morning.
Sources close to the Real Housewives of New Jersey star say the car was picked up from Paul “Paulie” Connell’s home in Edgewater, NJ at around 6am
“Dolores is determined to find her car with the help of the authorities,” said only a Page Six insider, adding that a police report had been filed in Bergen County.
“She is nervous but also very shocked that someone stole her straight from Paulie’s driveway,” they continued.
Ever since Catania’s ex-boyfriend David Principe bought her a car, it has been controversial among the cast of “RHONJ”.
In the Season 12 episode, Catania told some of her stars to “go wild” after they insinuated Principe to buy her a car in order to stop when buying an engagement ring.
“He didn’t give her the ring so she didn’t move in [with him]but he just bought her a Porsche, “Jackie Goldschneider told the group, to which her husband Evan quipped,” It means I’ll buy you a car instead of a ring. “
Their comment caused Catania to storm, shouting, “Everyone behind me is talking about getting a fucking Porsche and I want to leave. Fuck you. Learn not to talk behind my fucking back. Go fuck your fucking self.
Although Catania and Principe, 58, broke up last year, the reality show star kept a generous gift – until this weekend.
Despite this situation, Catania knows she relies on Connell, whom she says makes her feel “safe and secure”.
“I love everything about Paulie. I love knowing it reminds me of the old school guy I grew up with. And he’s so good to me, she told of her one-year-old boyfriend on Page Six in May.
Meanwhile, Connell – who had never seen an episode of “RHONJ” before meeting Catania – said he loved the “honesty” of reality show stars.
“She’s just a very genuine, kind person and it’s just nice to have someone to support you and support you,” he told us, adding that he loves watching the Bravo franchise with his main lady.
“I think it’s funny because I’m so close to her and she’s so funny. For example, she is very funny. So I understand more.
Party six has contacted the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office for updated information on the case, but has not yet received a response from them.
