Rick Ross is blaming Drake after his private jet reportedly crashed in Dallas
Rick Ross’ private jet reportedly crashed in Dallas on Friday, and the “Hustlin'” rapper is blaming Drake for the ordeal amid their ongoing feud.
“My jet just crashed; A Drake OvO F16 fighter just shot us down 🔥🔥” – Ross, 48, wrote by X Friday.
The “Stay Schemin’” rapper then said on his Instagram Stories, “We’re in a jet and I see a fighter jet, I see the nose of it. It’s like Tom Cruise from ‘Top Gun’ before thanking everyone for their prayers.
“I saw his nose. I see him in the cockpit and I say “damn.” I can see his cheeks moving back due to the G-force,” he further stated. “And then it happened, I can’t say what happened, but it happened.”
Ross continued to mock the “Rich Baby Daddy” rapper, adding, “Come on, white boy.”
“What I’m going to take away about Drake’s old plane – the BBL Drizzy, I know you have ashtrays in the armrest and in hindsight it’s really cool.”
Representatives for the “Rick Forever” rapper, who apparently took the alleged event as a joke, did not immediately respond to our request for comment.
Page Six is unable to confirm the plane crash, but the hip-hop outlet is called Keep6ixSolid shared via X Friday photos from an alleged accident.
“Rick Ross’s jet crashes in Dallas,” the Toronto-based website wrote on Twitter. “He just clowned Drake for his Boeing 767.”
Drake, 37, has not publicly responded to Ross’ comments online — although he did like one post who discussed the incident. His representatives did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
It looks like the Canadian rapper is busy fending off another feud with Kendrick Lamar. Drake dropped the album on Friday night diss record about the “Swimming Pools” rapper titled “Family Matters.”
However, his feud with Ross came to a head in April when Drake got into a battle of words with the “Diced Pineapples” artist for accusing him of having a nose job.
At the time, Ross claimed in his song “Champagne Moments” that the “Degrassi” alum had undergone rhinoplasty because he didn’t want to look like his father, Dennis Graham.
The “Live Fast, Die Young” rapper also said at the time that he had unfollowed Drake on Instagram after the “God’s Plan” hitmaker allegedly sent a cease-and-desist letter to French Montana.
It is widely suspected that legal action was threatened due to Montana’s 2021 song “Splash Brothers,” which allegedly featured both Drake and Ross.
Drake responded to Ross’ allegations with screenshots of a text conversation with his mother.
“The Internet says you’ve had a nose job?” – wrote the 64-year-old Graham matriarch. “You looked the same in the kitchen today. I can’t believe you’d get one without me, 🤭 because you know I’ve always wanted one. Don’t tell me you have tattoos without me and now you have this too? 🤔.”
Drake wrote back, along with several laughing emojis: “If I went to my mom, I’d get us a 2-for-1 deal. It’s from Rick Ross.”
The “One Dance” rapper also then claimed that Ross had been taking the type 2 diabetes drug Mounjaro to lose weight, adding, “He’s crazy.”
