Robert De Niro is pleased that Donald Trump was found guilty on all 34 counts in the Stormy Daniels hush money case.

Robert De Niro is happy that former President Donald Trump was found guilty on all 34 charges in his hush money case.

When Page Six caught up with the actor on Thursday night in New York at a screening of his new movie “Ezra,” we asked how delighted he was with the news.

“I’m always very tired. I don’t want to get too excited about anything,” he told us, adding: “It’s as it should be. Justice has become a fact. That’s it.”

He also accused Trump of trying to “destroy” the United States.

When asked if he thought Trump could still win the 2024 presidential election in November, De Niro, 80, replied: “For me, it’s not over until it’s over.”

A longtime Trump critic alluded to this point the ferocity of the fans of the newly convicted criminal as “madness”.

And when it comes to continuing to campaign for President Joe Biden, with whom he gathered in front of the courthouse in Manhattan earlier this week, the Oscar winner told us, “I have plans to do it. We’ll see at this point.”

When asked to read the verdict on the first charge, the foreman stood up calmly and said: “Guilty.” He then repeated the word 33 more times when asked to read the jury’s verdict on the remaining issues.

Meanwhile, Trump sat slouched in his seat, his shoulders slumped forward. He bowed his head, looking at each juror as his fate was read aloud.

He is scheduled to be sentenced on July 11 and will remain free without bail until then. He faces up to four years in federal prison, but probation is also possible.

Then Trump – who will most certainly appeal – claimed that Biden had “rigged” the trial and added: “The real verdict will be delivered on November 5 by the people. I am an innocent man. I’m fighting for our country. I am fighting for our constitution. We are a nation in decline.”

The real estate mogul was accused of illegally trying to cover up a $130,000 payment to porn star Stormy Daniels to prevent a sex scandal from derailing his 2016 campaign.

The charges concern falsification of invoices, checks and entries in accounting books.
