‘Sad day for democracy’, Kejriwal said after the Rajya Sabha passed a bill to give more power to Delhi LG

On Wednesday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said it was a “sad day for democracy” after the government passes the bill. Recently, the National Capital Territory of Delhi Amendment Bill GNCTD, 2021 passed to rule the entire capital. After the bill pass then the power to rule Delhi is more to the lieutenant governor of Delhi. After the bill passed by government then Kejriwal tweeted from his official Twitter account. When the bill passed then MPs opposing the bill in which Congress’ Mallikarjun Kharge also leaves the place just after the voting. The bill was passed in Lok Sabha on Monday.
