Scheana Shay defends Lisa Vanderpump’s scent after Erika Jayne’s shadow
Vanderpump Rules star Schean Shay won’t bite the hand that feeds her.
“If you ask me, @lisavanderpump smells like roses 🌹” Shay, 37, described the carousel on Instagram Tuesday, which kicked off with a selfie with her executive producer.
“Greetings to the 10th season of the VPR coming soon 🥂!”
A comment on the smell of Vanderpump comes shortly after Erika Jayne, a partner of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, doubled, saying the restaurant’s breath “reeks of garlic, cigarettes and chardonnay.”
Jayne, 51, repeated the insult last week during the second part of the RHOBH Season 12 Reunion, but she first spoke the words on social media in April.
After Jayne released a recording of a recollection of Garcelle Beauvais’ associate in a Dumpster – which Lisa Rinna has since revealed to have been taken by her – 62-year-old Vanderpump condemned the act by shooting Jayne’s intelligence.
“Thought it was pretty mean, honestly,” she said E! News at the time, adding, “Maybe Erika didn’t understand it. Maybe Garcelle should have sent her a scratch and sniff book or something.
Vanderpump’s comments on the matter made it to Instagram, prompting Jayne to reply in a comment: “That’s rich from someone who smells like garlic, cigarettes and chardonnay.”
Jayne even added the hashtag “#halitosis,” which is the medical term for bad breath.
After initially stating that she would not be returning to “RHOBH” unless Bravo “cleaned the house” in regards to the cast (Kathy Hilton’s ultimatum also recently gave the chain), Vanderpump changed her mind and swore to come back completely.
“I’m glad I left. I tried to quit three or four times, “she told Page Six earlier this year, calling the show” a nightmare. “
“I will never go back. It’s a hot mess I could do without – she added.
Vanderpump quit the show in 2019 after her castmates accused her of lying to revealing a negative story about Dorit Kemsley and the dog to the press. The endless saga, known to fans as “PuppyGate”, was released in season 9.
