The return of everyone’s favorite show that’s out of control, hilariously entertaining and utterly chaotic: Bachelor in Paradise! Beginning September 27, all of your favorite former contestants from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette will head to Mexico to fight for a second chance at love.

This week marks the start of Season 8, and while Paradise usually premieres in mid-August, the schedule for this season will be slightly different. You know the saying that goes, “Good things come to those who wait.” This season takes a page out of the Love Island playbook and breaks up potential couples mid-season. Reality Steve explained that all couples are separated, with each member of the sex traveling to a different resort to socialize with singles.

It should come as no surprise that this shift will result in a lot of upheaval. “This place is beyond crazy. It’s totally out of control,” host Jesse Palmer said on the Here for the Right Reasons podcast. “There’s just so much chaos, so much drama, and yes, things never seen before are happening in paradise,” the reporter said.

ABC also released a teaser for the upcoming season, promising various fan-favorites will be looking for love (spoiler alert: Michael Allio, commonly known as “Papa Mike”, will be returning). In addition, a significant number of Clayton Echard’s ladies are present. Without further ado, however, allow me to (re)introduce you to the cast of Bachelor in Paradise 2022.

If you’ve been living under a rock, you might not know that in The Bachelorette’s most recent season, Co-Bachelorette, Logan dated Rachel until he realized he had deeper feelings for Gabby, which prompted him to quickly to switch in relationships. After that, he contracted COVID and was sent home. womp

You may remember Teddi, the 25-year-old nurse who worked in the surgical ward, from the season of The Bachelor hosted by Clayton Echard. According to Distractify, Teddi was eliminated during the seventh rose ceremony despite getting the first impression that the bachelor had a rose. I hope you have better luck this time!

Michael Allio

Michael, who is originally from Ohio and is currently known to all as “Papa Mike”, is a business owner. Michael is 38 years old. And speaking for myself, I’m glad Michael’s friendly grin is making a comeback this season of Bachelor in Paradise. According to Entertainment Weekly, this loving dad left Katie Thurston’s season early because his newborn baby required his attention. It’s important to hold onto the good.

Shanae Ankney

Take a good look at these! According to her description on the Bachelor Nation Wiki, 30-year-old Shanae from Ohio works as a recruiter. After watching the teaser, Shanae comes across as someone who enjoys drama, which makes perfect sense considering she took part in Clayton’s season of The Bachelor. It seems that she has such a strong affinity for the holidays that she tends a Christmas tree all year round.

A Spencer, Andrew

Andrew, 27, is making a comeback following the conclusion of Katie Thurston’s season of The Bachelorette. When Andrew was removed from the team just before his hometown dates it was an emotional rollercoaster ride for everyone so I hope this professional footballer gets to meet his soulmate in paradise.

Serene, 27, is from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where she currently works as an elementary school teacher. She is another of Clayton’s many ex-girlfriends who will join the cast of the upcoming season of BiP. See you soon Serene!

According to Screen Rant, despite the fact that he seemed to win the heart of Michelle Young (as well as her parents), 28-year-old Brandon finished the competition in second place, ultimately missing an opportunity to win her over Nayte Olukoya.

Brandon is a traveling nurse recruiter and he has come to make the life of an extremely happy woman much more joyful. And we hope there are no more Neil Lane engagement rings lost in the water:

25-year-old Brittany from Chicago, Illinois is a model. She is perhaps best known as one of the five ladies who made their big debut in the fourth episode of Matt James’ season. Poor Britt eventually became the focus of a malicious rumor, and she was removed from the game not long after.

Jacob Rapini

Another one of Gabby and Rachel’s Bachelorette experiences together! According to his Instagram account, Jacob, 28, who lives in Scottsdale, Arizona, is into real estate and mortgage finance. I’m sure you remember his fascinating method of winning Rachel’s heart, but just in case you don’t, he basically told Gabby that he was only there for Rachel and that he was going to eliminate himself would if it were the only option. I’m sure you remember this, but in case you don’t, I’ll remind you. Ouch.

Genevieve Parisi

Genevieve, nice to have you back! According to Bachelor Nation Wiki and Cosmopolitan, this contestant has been a bartender in Los Angeles for 27 years. The teaser for the next season featured Genevieve in a significant amount of screen time; Could this be a preview of future episodes?

According to Entertainment Weekly, she is best known for “disliking Shanae,” which is the name of another contender. Given this information, I wouldn’t be surprised if the competition descended into chaos.

This contestant may look familiar to you from Katie Thurston’s season or from his confessions in the new trailer. Justin is 28 years old from Baltimore, Maryland and is an investment sales consultant.

According to her Instagram account, Hailey is a 26-year-old pediatric nurse and hails from Orlando, Florida. Also, she is one of the ladies who will be returning after Clayton Echard’s season is over. There aren’t many other details to share right now, but I look forward to getting to know Hailey better in September.

While Romeo’s name was chosen with the franchise in mind, the real concern is whether he possesses the kind of passionate nature befitting his famous moniker. You may remember Romeo from Michelle Young’s season if you’ve seen her. FYI, he is a data scientist from New York and he is 33 years old.

27-year-old Sierra Jackson, who works as a yoga teacher in Dallas, Texas, is on the right track. She also reappears post-season of Clayton Echard where she famously warned him not to do anything stupid and is now appearing post-season. Well I think we can all imagine how the situation unfolded. According to his Instagram bio, Casey is a musician and creative director of advertising. He is 37 years old and hails from Miami Beach, Florida. Last we saw him he was on Michelle Young’s season of The Bachelorette and now he’s back for another attempt at finding love.

It is quite clear that Clayton has broken the hearts of a large number of young women, including this architectural historian from Rhode Island. Also, 27-year-old Jill returns for the second time, hoping to find the person who will complete her in paradise.

Kira is a doctor and she is 33 years old. She was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a result of her participation in the 26th season of The Bachelor, she enters paradise already familiar to a large number of the other ladies there. It seems like the purpose of this season is for Clayton’s ex-boyfriends to get together and catch up.

Hunter, 29, from Charlotte, North Carolina, is a Human Resources Specialist at Walt Disney World, where she previously worked in the role of a Disney princess. In Clayton’s season, Hunter was eliminated in week 5 and I can’t wait for her to come back for the next one.

Lace is a real estate agent born and raised in Denver, Colorado. She is 32 years old. Lace has previously appeared on Bachelor in Paradise, and she was also a contestant on ABC’s The Bachelor. This isn’t the first time she’s done any of these things. In Season 20, Lace was one of the contestants vying for Ben Higgins’ attention.

In the third season of Big Brother, Lace and Grant Kemp got engaged. But it seems like nothing went according to plan… Hello again!
