Soap star and film actress Robyn Griggs has died at the age of 49

Robyn Griggs, the TV and movie star best known for his roles in the soap operas “Another World” and “One Life To Live”, died at the age of 49.
The stars official Facebook account announced the sad news Saturday afternoon in a statement.
“Hello everyone, with a heavy heart, I am sad to announce Robyn’s departure,” the post began.
“But she doesn’t suffer anymore and she wants us to remember that and have good memories. I will never forget how open she was to tell her story and accept my help in telling it. She wanted to help people and spread information about her story to do so. I was honored to be able to do this. RIP my friend, I love you and I smile when I think of you. “
Griggs – who? married golfer Mark Wiley in 2013 – she was very transparent to friends and fans about her health issues as she was diagnosed with stage 4 cervical cancer in 2020 and revealed last month that she developed four new tumors .
“I have 4 new tumors. 2 new tumors on my liver, one on the abdominal muscle and a large one on the right lymph node, ”Griggs wrote on her account on July 7. I told them what it takes. I’m ready to fight.
The report also confirms that on August 11 – just two days before her death – the actress moved to a hospice.

Griggs played Stephanie Hobart in “One Life to Live” in six episodes in 1991. Maggie Cory played in “Another World” for two years.
She later starred in films such as “Serious Injuries” in 2003 and “Hellweek” in 2010.
