Dennis was arrested in Goose Creek, South Carolina, last week for DUI and driving with an open container after a three-car collision.

According to TMZ, the officer who responded to the scene claimed that the former Bravolebrity had “glowing eyes and an odor of alcohol coming from her.”

Video of the arrest shows Dennis arguing with police while they perform several field sobriety tests before handcuffing her.

When she was told to put her hands behind her back, Dennis asked the officer, “Wait, why? Am I in trouble?”

As soon as she got into the backseat, Dennis began arguing with the officer in the front.

“You will ruin my life and my children’s life” [lives]” she said. “Thanks for nothing.”

When the officer informed her he was going to take a blood-alcohol test, Dennis insisted she wasn’t “stupid” and called the arrest “some bullshit.”

“It’s really messed up that you guys just like to welcome people. What if they have children? Because it could really impact their children’s lives,” the former reality star added.

Dennis talked about her many years of struggle with addiction. In 2019, she admitted that she was not completely sober and still drank alcohol.

Three years earlier, she had completed an ordered stint in rehab in Malibu, California, in accordance with her custody agreement with ex Thomas Ravenel.

Dennis has a 10-year-old daughter, Kensington, and an 8-year-old son, Saint Julien, from Ravenel.

In July 2019, Ravenal accused the former model of being “addicted to prescription drugs, marijuana, alcohol, shopping and sex,” which she denied at the time.

Dennis and Ravenal ended their relationship in 2016.
