Emmanuel Sanders, a wide receiver selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the third round of the 2010 NFL Draft, started as a backup target until he passed Antonio Brown as a productive receiver.
Sanders joined Peyton Manning’s incredibly dynamic offense in Denver, where he found his freedom.
The 35-year-old not only won Super Bowl 50 with the Denver Broncos against the Carolina Panthers, but also played for the San Francisco 49ers, the New Orleans Saints and the Buffalo Bills.

WR Emmanuel Sanders wife Gabriella Waheed is a fashion designer
Gabriella Waheed, the wide receiver’s wife, is a successful model. She reportedly has over 658,000 Instagram followers and is a fashion designer.
In contrast, the couple broke their vows in 2013. Sanders and Waheed are currently regularly showing their affection for each other on social media.
For example, Kid Kong NYC developer Waheed wished her friends, family and fans a Merry Christmas by posting a family photo on Instagram on December 25, 2021.
In the picture she was sitting in front of the Christmas tree with her husband Sanders and their two children. The veteran Buffalo Bills player also shows his love for his family in no less than equal measure.
In May 2021, Sanders released a Mother’s Day tribute in memory of his cherished wife. He has uploaded several pictures of his family and has praised Waheed for consistently looking after him and his children.
Married in 2013, Waheed had filed for divorce at one point
In 2016, following the couple’s marriage, all the issues surrounding Sanders and Waheed’s relationship first surfaced in public.
Sanders and his wife have occasionally fallen out over their disagreements in the past. In truth, Waheed had previously filed for divorce.
When Waheed was expecting her daughter, she started divorce proceedings and even obtained a restraining order against Sanders.
However, immediately after Waheed was born, she uploaded a photo of the two in the delivery room.
Waheed initially accused Sanders of wasting thousands of dollars on numerous “side girlfriends,” and even more absurdly, she claimed he dumped her after she gave birth to his child and skipped practicing to date friends.
Despite the 2016 news, it seems the couple are still together. As they post pictures of their family on social media, they seem happy.
The couple’s two children have their own clothing line
Now that Sanders and Waheed have two children, a husband named Princeton and a daughter named Zoie, their family is complete. Since becoming parents, they have taken every opportunity to demonstrate their superior parenting skills.
From celebrating their children’s birthdays to routinely updating their social media accounts, the couple has done it all flawlessly.
In addition, the two often take the children on vacation so that they can see new places and interact with people from other cultures.
You can certainly tell from some of Waheed’s photos that she likes to wear fashionable clothes. Pictures of her in clothes from the likes of Chanel, Balenciaga, Fendi and Louis Vuitton can be found all over her Instagram profile.
Regularly dressing her children in coordinating, expensive clothes, you can tell that her sense of style doesn’t let them play outside in the rain.
Waheed poses as a fashion designer on Instagram and is the owner of children’s clothing company Kid Kong NYC. The company, which bills itself as “high-end streetwear,” offers a range of products and looks.
Emmanuel Sanders considered Demaryius Thomas his brother
The San Francisco 49ers wide receiver visited the Denver Broncos Boys & Girls Club, a place that holds special meaning for the late Demaryius Thomas. Thomas died of illness in December at the age of 33.
Sanders, a Broncos player from 2014-2018, considered Thomas his sibling. He wanted the younger generation to continue the good work his friend started at the Boys & Girls Club.
Essentially, the 10-year veteran, who played for the Broncos, Texans and Jets, was found dead at his home in Roswell, Ga., with signs of seizure disease six months after retiring from the NFL at age 33.
Thomas also had chronic traumatic encephalopathy, a degenerative brain disorder, according to a statement by Boston University doctors who examined his brain through the Concussion Legacy Foundation (CTE).
Sanders claimed that Thomas retired after his death because of his CTE concerns. He got back on the field that same week, knowing his Buffalo Bills teammates were counting on him.
Emmanuel Sandres Parents: His mother Stephanie Sanders was born in 1970
Sanders lived a happy existence until the death of his mother, Stephanie Sanders. Raised by his parents in Bellville, Texas, Sanders seemed much more attached to his mother than to his father.
The only information contained in the post showing pictures of his family is that of his mother. His mother was born on September 17, 1970, but his father’s name and identity are unknown.
The fact that most of the two pictures depicting the player’s mother were taken in a graveyard suggests that the player really misses her. According to the inscription on the stone, his mother died in November 2011.
He claimed in a 2015 photo that his mother would have been delighted to see him climb the ladder of success had she been alive.
Similarly, two years ago, Sanders wished Stephanie a Happy Mother’s Day. He also considers this day the most agonizing day of his life.
NFL player announces retirement to spend time with family
Emmanuel Sanders, who has played in 12 NFL seasons and made it to three Super Bowls and also won one, is pleased with his accomplishments.
Sanders announced his NFL retirement in a formal Instagram post on Wednesday. Emmanuel’s admirers have expressed their admiration for his outstanding achievements and best wishes for the future.
He relocated to Los Angeles and spent some time honing his broadcasting skills to serve as an analyst with NFL Network during the off-season.
It is logical to assume that once he retires he will pursue broadcasting full time where he will thrive just like the SMU product in the NFL.
