Taylor Swift did not show up at Drake’s party in Amsterdam

Nothing stands between Taylor Swift and her music – not even her new, vibrant acting role.
Swift returns to the big screen in the new movie “Amsterdam”. But we’re told the pop star had to skip her New York premiere on Sunday as she was honored for her music in Nashville, Tennessee.
The Nashville Songwriters Association International will present Swift (who began obviously as a country artist) with the prestigious Songwriter-Artist of the Decade award on Tuesday. But it’s such a big deal in musical circles that she had to stay in town to prepare, and she couldn’t even come to New York City two days before the ceremony to attend the premiere of her great movie directed by David O. Russell and also starring Christian Bale, John David Washington, Margot Robbie, Chris Rock, Mike Myers and others.
Rapper Drake – who produces the film – introduced it at its premiere on Sunday, but had started celebrating the day before. Sources told us that he held an unofficial premiere party at Richie Akiva’s club members The Ned late Saturday night. And despite misreporting that Swift showed up at the party until the wee hours of the morning – we were told that she was instead getting ready for her big night and was actually not around the Big Apple.
The source described the late night of the evening as an “impromptu celebration” of the film that took place in the club’s so-called “Magic Hall”. DJ Rachel Winters began shooting the melodies tonight before Drake’s personal DJs took control.
Kevin Durant was hanging out with Drake at the VIP table and we hear that Kristen Stewart and Ashley Benson were also hanging on the roof of the club before they joined Bash Drake. Drake left around 3:30. “With your safety,” the spy told us.
Our guess is that Drake popped out before the close in time to catch up ahead of the big premiere at Alice Tully Hall on Sunday. He and DreamCrew later hosted an official after party at Zero Bond.
Spies told us that he and Rami Malek “were the last ones on the dance floor” while Baz Luhrmann and Leonardo DiCaprio were “talking about the shop in the corner.”
“The whole event was a sumptuous event along with the casino games,” said the source.
We hear that Drake and his online casino Stawka have presented participants with prizes worth $ 150,000.
Taylor, you missed!
