Taylor Swift Nods to Travis Kelce’s Jersey Number and Performs “The Alchemy”
Taylor Swift fans can’t calm down after she gave Travis Kelce a not-so-subtle shoutout during her Eras Tour performance on Sunday.
The pop star then apparently referred to the jersey number of the Kansas City Chiefs player she asked“Can you believe this is our 87th performance on the Eras tour?”
Viewers screamed at the mention, while X users celebrated online.
“I swear we’re so close to saying his name,” one of them said the social media user wrote on Twitter on the weekend with another calls the moment “too perfect” because Kelce, 34, was at the concert.
The camera caught him dancing with Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper.
Later in the evening, Swift, 34, performed “The Alchemy” from her latest album, “The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology” as one of her secret songs.
With football-themed lyrics “warm[ing] benching,” “winning streaks” and more are believed to be about Kelce.
The Grammy winner made headlines for other nods to her boyfriend, including a costume inspired by Chiefs colors during a segment of her “1989” show.
The couple started dating in 2023, and their romance got off to a rocky start when Swift attended one of Kelce’s NFL games in September.
She was a staple in many of his games, including February’s Super Bowl victory at tight end.

Kelce, for his part, was in the crowd for many of the Eras Tour shows.
Not only did Swift run into his arms and kiss him after a performance in Argentina in November 2023, but she did the same four months later in Singapore.
The ‘Catching Kelce’ alum, who also flew in for the Sydney performance, he raved about his talented partner on WSJ. Magazine last year.
“Being around her and seeing how smart Taylor was was pretty damn stunning,” he said. “I learn every day.”
The athlete is currently in the off-season and is hard at work during Swift’s return to Europe on the Eras Tour, filming Ryan Murphy’s “Grotesquerie” in Los Angeles.
