Taylor Swift’s “Anti-Hero” video features a dress from the “Fearless” tour

Just hours after releasing his new album “Midnights”, Taylor Swift released the first music video for the project – it features a clever episode from one of her costumes from previous tours.

In the clip for the main single “Anti-Hero”, which Swift wrote and directed, the artist comes face to face with her greatest insecurities and worries in a very literal way, even spying on her own funeral in one dream sequence.

In this scene, Mike Birbiglia, John Early, and Mary Elizabeth Ellis play Swift’s fictional grown children who argue about her will.

When the trio is fighting for who “[traded] My mother’s name is “most important,” the character Early tells Ellis, “You’re literally wearing her clothes now.”

“It’s from the” Fearless “tour. 2009 ”adds Birbiglia’s character in the stunning black issue that Swift actually wore on stage over a decade ago.

This isn’t the first time Swift’s resurrected past has searched for a music video; Who could forget the clip for the main single “Reputation” from 2017, “Look What You Made Me Do”, which featured dozens of her most iconic costumes from past musical eras, including her “Red” announcer outfit, her appearance “Swan Lake” “From” Shake It Off “, her pajamas” You Belong With Me “and even a dress from the Met Gala in 2014.

Fans of the superstar’s music videos (and its signature cryptic clues) can expect a lot more visuals for the “Midnights” era; before LP release, Swift I provided a teaser trailer for many future films that will feature additional scenes from Laura Dern, Dita von Teese and the Haim sisters.

We also hope for many more trendy Easter eggs.
