During the joint event Fox NFL Sunday On Oct. 2, the Hall of Fame linebacker revealed that he has battled two forms of cancer and is now cancer-free.

“Last week on this show I caught my breath and [co-star] howie [Long] helped me up and a lot of people ask what’s wrong with me,” the star of the E! The Bradshaw Group said “I just want to talk about it and let you know what’s happened in my life.”

The 74-year-old continued: “I was diagnosed with bladder cancer in November. I contacted the Yale University Medical Center. [for] surgery, treatment. Today I am free of bladder cancer. Okay, that’s good news. Then in March I feel good. I had a neck disease, I had an MRI scan, now we found a tumor on the left side of my neck, and it’s a Merkel cell tumor, which is a rare form of skin cancer.”

Bradshaw said he had surgery to remove it at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
