The Bravo list for “RHONY Legacy” has Jill Zarin, Kelly Bensimon

Page 6 learns that Jill Zarin, Kelly Bensimon, Dorinda Medley, Luann De Lesseps, and Sonja Morgan are on Bravo’s shortlist for the cast of the new “Heritage” spinoff for “Real Housewives of New York”, and one or two more. names we don’t know yet.

Meanwhile, we were told that the longest-running star of “RHONY”, Ramona Singer, was not on the list.

Sources say the contracts have not been signed, but talks are ongoing with all potential stars.

Earlier this year, the chain announced that it was undergoing a major overhaul for a 14-year series.

Execs split the series into two shows: “The Real Housewives of New York City,” which has a brand new cast of untested stars, and a version of “Legacy,” which would feature a cast of fan favorites from previous seasons.

Some of the returning cast have made their way back to the archives. Zarin only appeared in the first four of the thirteen seasons that aired, but her memorable fight with former cast member Bethenna Frankel gave her a tremendous presence in the minds of many Housewives addicts despite her short spell.

Meanwhile, Bensimon also quit after the show’s fourth season, and has since transformed into a hugely successful real estate agent.

Only four new stars appeared on the screen together. Zarin, Bensimon, De Lesseps, and Morgan overlapped in Season 4. This was Morgan’s first season, but Medley did not join Season 7.

Executive producer Andy Cohen “cut short” his participation in 2020 after a series of ugly fights involving the star.

At this time, we reported that the network hopes to bring her back.

Bravo officials declined to comment.
