The cast of “RHONY” in season 14 announced at BravoCon 2022

The reboot of Real Housewives of New York City is officially on its way.

Andy Cohen has finally revealed a brand new and diverse cast for Season 14 of the Long Series at BravoCon 2022 on Sunday.

Bravo introduces seven “Housewives” to the franchise: creative director Sai De Silva, model and philanthropist Ubah Hassan, home renovation guru Erin Dana Lichy, former J. Crew president Jenna Lyons, influential Lizzy Savetsky, fashion columnist and brand consultant Jessel Taank . and Brynn Whitfield, a marketing and communication professional.

Production starts in the fall, and the premiere of the season in 2023.

The network first announced it would relaunch “RHONY” in March – in addition to launching the “Legacy” version of the program that features Big Apple alumni from the original series.

“You know we’re at a crossroads for RHONY,” Executive Producer Cohen said at the time, referring to controversial threads involving Ramona Singer and other longtime cast members.

“We spent a lot of time figuring out where to go. I think the plan we came up with is a real gift for the fans, ”he continued.

Cohen also noted that the two shows “take into account everything our passionate audience has really told us over the past year,” which caused “RHONY” ratings to drop and the Season 13 reunion was canceled.

Casting was already underway in August when page six only reported that Savetsky had joined the reboot.

Cohen, 54, shared another update on the future of “RHONY” as BravoCon kicked off Friday, telling Page Six only that rebooting takes precedence over “Legacy.”

“I hope that [fans are] happy with both. That’s all I can say. The truth is, we haven’t spoken to any of our classic RHONY women about Legacy yet, ”the host of Watch What Happens Live told us.

“We really waited for RHONY to restart and we really wanted to tell new stories, we wanted to capture the energy in New York and I’m really happy with where we are.”

Cohen has also made the surprising discovery that the show will be “town representative” outside the affluent Upper East Side.

“He’s all over town and he has aspirations,” he explained. “I think it’s legal. We definitely go beyond the Upper East Side with these women. “
