The cause of death of country singer Luke Bell became known

Nearly a month after Bell was reported missing, an autopsy report and toxicology screening confirmed the country singer died of an accidental fentanyl overdose.

“Based on the known circumstances of this death, the available medical history and examination of the remains, the cause of death is fentanyl poisoning,” the Pima County Medical Examiner’s Office said in a report. “The manner of death is accidental.”

The report gives Bell’s date of death as August 26. He was 32 years old.

Bell has previously toured with several major countries including Willie Nelson, Hank Williams Jr. and Dwight Yoakam.
