The CEO of Blended Festival suddenly cancels the festival

Is it the Fyre Festival that meets “Bad Vegan”?

Sean Evans, founder and CEO of the popular “wine and music” traveling festival called Mixed festival “Went missing,” allegedly “leaving hundreds of employees, salespeople, talents and investors reaching out to get paid,” he told Page Six.

The first concert of the festival took place on September 10-11 in Nashville with artists such as Lil Jon and The Chainsmokers. Rapper TI, G-Eazy, Loud Luxury and others were due to take the stage on various other dates, including upcoming shows in Tampa, Florida this month.

But Evans is allegedly missing after performing in Nashville and is accused of “collecting over $ 6 million in unpaid debt due to the festival,” we’re told.

An Instagram account for the festival, which is run by a third party, provided an update “for valued ticket holders” last Thursday, claiming that Evans “has been absent since October 1”. He turned off employees’ e-mails and left the team unanswered, ”we read.

We received what appeared to be an email from Evans on Oct. 5 which read: “Yesterday morning I experienced a minor heart attack, specifically a form of cardiomyopathy… It was a bit scary… I have some lifestyle decisions to make. I will probably go to e-mail just for a while so I can manage the amount of data I receive. ”

Insiders, however, are skeptical about his health claims, saying Page Six: “the validity of this claim is questionable and no one can find evidence that he was hospitalized.”

He reportedly followed that email with another note on October 10, in which he wrote that the festival and its company, My Wine Society, would “dissolve and cease operations while we look for a potential buyer for the brand IP (if any).”

He further warned, “If you receive this, the Legal Department recommends that you do not communicate with anyone about MWS or Blended Fest without first consulting with them as you may inadvertently get involved or present yourself or the company inappropriately.”

Evans didn’t answer phone calls, emails, or text messages after several attempts to contact him.
