The daughter of Brooke Bailey’s Basketball Wife star, Kayla, has died at the age of 25

Basketball Wives star Brooke Bailey announced that her daughter Kayla had died tragically on Sunday. She was 25 years old.

“Forever my baby, Pretty Black aka Kayla Nicole Bailey 💜🕊💔 This is not a goodbye. Mom will see you soon 🙏🏾 ”Brooke wrote next to a series of photos of her daughter that had been taken all her life.

Brooke also changed her Instagram bios to include a tribute to her deceased daughter: “FOREVER 💜🕊Kayla Nicole Bailey 3/2 / 97-9 / 25/22 #PrettyBlack.”

The cause of Kayla’s death is unknown, but they are reports they say she died as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident. Brooke seemed to confirm the cause of death by submitting an article about Kayla’s accident; however, the official cause and manner of death have not been disclosed.

Brooke’s friends, family and supporters flooded her with condolences as soon as she shared the news.

“Oh, my heart just broke for you,” commented actress Tabitha Brown. “I’m so sorry baby.”

“I’m so sorry Brooke,” commented Zena Foster.

“Oh beautiful, I’m sorry! My prayers are with you, raising your name high in prayer tonight 🙏🏽 😔, wrote a graduate of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, commented Tammy Rivera.

The 45-year-old reality show star thanked everyone for the flood of support, writing on her Instagram report: “Thank you for LOVING my daughter. Thank you [broken-heart emoji]”.
