The death of Darius Campbell Danesh decided the accident
The cause of death of beloved singer Darius Campbell Danesh was revealed after was found dead in his Minnesota apartment last month.
The 41-year-old Scottish vocal sensation that appeared on “Pop Idol” died from “inhaling chloroethane,” confirmed the Southern Minnesota Office of Medical Doctors.
The autopsy results list the “toxic effects of chloroethane” and the “suffocation” that led to his sudden death, ITV reports.
Death was pronounced in the coroner’s accident.
Danesh first rose to fame with Britney Spears’ hit “… Baby One More Time” in 2001 as a cast member of the reality show “Popstars”.
Shortly thereafter, he auditioned for “Pop Idol” – the precursor to “American Idol” – and became one of the last three contestants.
Danesh’s family has revealed details of his “sudden” death.
In a statement, Danesh’s relatives said the police had found “no signs of intent or suspicious circumstances.”
According to the family, he was found “unresponsive in bed in his room in the apartment.”
A year after his fame on reality TV, the singer signed with Mercury Records and released two solo albums – “Dive in” and “Live Twice” – from 2002 to 2004.
Danesh’s debut single “Colourblind” topped the UK singles chart for two weeks in July 2002.
He also went on to star in a number of productions on Britain’s West End Broadway, including Billy Flynn in Chicago, Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls, and Rhett Butler in Gone with the Wind.
