The fate of HBO’s House of the Dragon has become known

Jon Snow may not know anything, but that can’t be said for HBO, which clearly knows what a hit TV show looks like.

The network has already been updated House of the Dragon, which focuses on the power struggle within the Targaryen family, for a second season. “We are extremely proud of all this House of the Dragon team was successful with the first season,” said HBO’s executive vice president of programming Francesca Orsi “Our phenomenal cast and crew rose to the challenge and exceeded all expectations with a show that has already established itself as a must-see.”

This news is not a surprise Game of Thrones fans., which broke records with its premiere on August 21. The debut episode saw the largest audience of any new original series in HBO history, according to the network. What’s more, HBO reported that the first episode that kicked off the civil war, titled “Dance of Dragons,” had over 20 million viewers in less than a week.
