Ezra Miller says they are seeking treatment for “complex mental health problems” amidst many legal scandals.

In a statement, Miller, who identifies himself as non-binary and uses their pronouns, apologized for his behavior in recent years which has led to arrests on allegations of abuse and assault.

“After a recent period of intense crisis, I understand that I am suffering from complex mental health issues and have started continuous treatment” Miller Variety said through a statement by their representative.

Miller, 29, has been embroiled in legal trouble all over the United States since the beginning of the year.

The Fantastic Beasts actor was arrested in Hawaii in March for disturbing the order and later failed to enter the competition. They were also charged with allegedly throwing a chair at a woman and being the subject of 10,911 emergency calls in less than a month in the same state.

Just three months later, Miller was accused of raising a teenager with “cult” behavior. The teenager’s parents filed a lawsuit at the Standing Rock Sioux Tribal Court, alleging that the actor “uses violence, intimidation, threats of violence, fear, paranoia, delusions and drugs to take possession of the young Tokata.”

Tokata, however, denied the statements made by her family and friends on social media.

The same month, Miller was charged with placing three young children and their mother on a farm full of arms in Vermont.
